Wicked Rouge REFINE - Release v0.14.0

I have made a minor update to reduce the narrative text blocks by approximately 30%. While I don't have precise figures, this is based on my estimation as I went through the entire game story making edits.

This adjustment was intended to alleviate the burden of reading extensive narratives for new players, allowing them to focus more on dialogues, which aligns better with the game format. Additionally, I aimed to eliminate any excessive portions of the narrative without sacrificing important story elements.

Some example.

Before:
The radiance of the light that splits the darkened sky is almost bright enough to burn, the forks of the storm’s bolt bridging heaven and earth with the fury of the gods, and the thunderclap is like a wall of force that slams into me as I stagger to a halt, glimpsing the scene that the flash reveals.

I am aware of the raindrops pelting my head. I can hear the thunder resound in my ears, ringing with a shrill tinnitus in the aftermath of the blast. And I can see in the lightning’s glaring, ephemeral luminance, squinting through the rain that lashes my face and weighs down my shoulders.

In the lightning’s glare, I see my old man’s face.

He looks older than I remember. That’s the first thought that strikes me, in the shock of the scene. I can see the years etched into his visage, wearing him down in a way I hadn’t expected.

I ran away almost a decade ago, and time wasn’t standing still while I was gone. I’ve already seen the proof of the years in how Otsu has grown, and in how Hana City has changed. But there’s something about seeing my old man’s face so weathered, so weary…

He really does look the part of an “old man”, now.

But through the petrichor, I pick up the metallic scent of blood.

He’s dead.

This thought strikes me as the lightning fades, the first impressions giving way to bitter comprehension.

I’ve seen dead men before. I’ve killed before, and I’ve cleaned the blood from my sword. I know the look of a dead man, that vacuous fish-eyed stare, and I know the smell of a dead man, sanguine and stagnant and unclean.

I’ve sent fools to an early grave. I’ve nudged aside their bodies and continued down my road. I’ve lived by the sword for the past ten years, and I’ve seen all the ugly realities of that life.

Yes, I’ve seen more dead men than I care to count…

…But this is different.

I understand this fact, even if I wish I didn’t.

This is not the man I’d hated for half my life. But this isn’t some no-name ruffian, either.

This is my father. And…

After:
A blinding flash illuminates the night sky, followed by a deafening crack of thunder.
The storm's fury forces me to stop, and in the fleeting moment of clarity, I glimpse a figure lying on the ground.

Rain pounds against my skin as I approach, the sound echoing in my ears. Through the stinging droplets, I make out a familiar face - my father's. He appears older, worn down by time since I last saw him nearly a decade ago.

But amidst the earthy scent of wet soil, I catch a whiff of coppery blood. My heart sinks as understanding sets in. He's dead, his vacant eyes staring blankly ahead.

Though I've seen death many times during my years on the road, this feels different. This is not just another nameless corpse; it's my father, the man I once loathed but cannot deny my connection to.

Overall, this is a minor update aimed at making the game more appealing to new players. Additional new content is expected to be released in the coming weeks
